Peter Deming was born on December 13, 1957 in Beirut, Lebanon.

* Member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) since 1998.

* Member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) since 2002 Member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) since 2017.

Since he worked in the genre so many times before he wasn’t really interested in repeating himself. He wasn’t interested in making an homage to himself. He wanted to do something new.
