Two years have passed since the horrifying events in Woodsboro turned Sidney Prescott’s (Neve Campbell) life upside down. Now a college student, Sidney is eager to leave the past behind and embrace a sense of normalcy. But that’s easier said than done.

The release of Gale Weathers’ (Courteney Cox) sensational tell-all book about the Woodsboro murders has reignited public fascination with Sidney’s traumatic story. Worse still, the book has been adapted into a blockbuster film, Stab, immortalizing the events Sidney hoped to escape.

As Stab premieres in theaters, life begins to imitate art in the most terrifying way: a masked killer strikes again, reigniting a new wave of terror and bloodshed. Sidney finds herself thrust back into a nightmare she thought was behind her, surrounded by old and new faces, each a potential ally—or a suspect.

Can Sidney survive this new chapter, or will the past finally catch up to her? In Scream 2, the body count is higher, the stakes are deadlier, and the rules of survival have evolved.

Someone is rewriting the rules, and everyone’s a target.
