The cast of Scream 4 just got even bigger! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aimee Teegarden, known for her standout role in Friday Night Lights, has joined the ensemble for Wes Craven’s highly anticipated sequel.
She joins an already impressive lineup featuring franchise veterans Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, alongside young Hollywood stars Anna Paquin, Emma Roberts, Adam Brody, Lucy Hale, Marley Shelton, and Hayden Panettiere.
With filming currently underway in Northville, Michigan, Scream 4 is shaping up to be a major event for horror fans. The film is slated for release on April 15, 2011.
Teegarden, fresh off her work on the cult hit Friday Night Lights, is set to appear in Disney’s upcoming feature Prom. Her addition to Scream 4 only increases anticipation for what’s already being called one of the most exciting sequels of the year.
