Halloween may not be widely celebrated here in Brazil, but for a Scream fan like me, this October felt like Christmas came early! While I may not get to dress up in Ghostface’s signature look for the holiday, I’ve got something far better to celebrate this spooky season: rare Scream 4 memorabilia straight from the ultimate sources.
Last Monday, a large package arrived at my door. When I saw the sender—Fun World—my heart nearly stopped. Carefully opening it, I discovered three Ghostface masks and one R.J. Rabbit, all gifts from none other than Fun World’s Licensing & Marketing Director, R.J. Torbert.
These weren’t just any masks, either; they are production runs, masks specially made for the filming of Scream 4. Even more exciting, they are the number #4 set—a detail that makes this piece of Scream history even more special. R.J. himself explained the significance:
“You are the only person to have received a set #4s from Scream 4. I noticed it when I was signing them for you. In my opinion, they are worth even more, because no one else will have a set of the same numbers.”
As if that weren’t enough, the next day brought another treasure: a My Soul To Take poster that HelloSidney.com won [+] during a Twitter Contest, sent and signed by Wes Craven himself. The combination of these incredible gifts made the week feel like a true holiday for any hardcore Scream fan. Of course, these items deserve a place of honor—not just as Halloween props, but as framed memorabilia commemorating the legacy of Scream.
A heartfelt thank you to R.J. Torbert, Fun World, and Wes Craven for making this October one to remember!
