The distribution plans for Scream 4’s home release are now clear. Following The Weinstein Company’s acquisition of a 25% stake in Starz Media, LLC, it’s been announced that Anchor Bay Entertainment will oversee the distribution of Scream 4 in various digital formats.
The deal includes DVD, Blu-ray, video-on-demand, and pay-per-view, leaving television distribution as the sole exception. Anchor Bay’s President, Bill Clark, shared his excitement about the collaboration, stating:
“Anchor Bay Entertainment is excited to integrate the esteemed films from The Weinstein Company and its Dimension Films label into our top-tier home entertainment and digital distribution enterprises.”
This partnership ensures that Scream 4 will join Anchor Bay’s portfolio of premium releases, offering fans high-quality options to bring Ghostface home in the best possible formats.
With Scream 4 set to terrify audiences in theaters this April, this announcement adds to the anticipation for collectors eager to add the film to their shelves.
