On Friday, April 8, top UK Reality TV Predictor and Paranormal Investigator Dean ‘Midas’ Maynard will host a unique ghost hunt to benefit the Alzheimer’s Society. The event takes place at the “very haunted” Manor House Hotel in West Auckland, England—a grade-one listed building steeped in history. Once reputed to be Henry VIII’s hunting lodge, its foundations date back to the 12th century, promising an eerie night for participants.
The ghost hunt is not just a traditional paranormal exploration but also a murder mystery with a chilling twist: Ghost Face takes center stage as the prime suspect. Dean, a devoted fan of the Scream franchise, organized the event to coincide with the UK release of Scream 4.
“As soon as I announced the event, the tickets went straight away; the manor is spooky enough without having to contemplate Ghost Face hiding in the shadows,” says Dean. “I’m hoping the event will raise loads of money for the Alzheimer’s Society, as a good friend’s mother has been sadly affected by this disease.”
