Get Ready for Screamathon 2024!

Party Like It’s 1996: Celebrate Halloween 2024 at the house the original Scream was filmed!

Calling all SCREAM fanatics—this is the moment you’ve been waiting for. The Screamathon 2024 is set to take over Spring Hill Estate, aka The Scream House, for an unforgettable Halloween bash, and you’re invited! On Saturday, October 26, prepare yourself for an epic night of 90s slasher nostalgia, chills, thrills, and hardcore fandom that will take you straight back to 1996.

The Event of a Lifetime at The Iconic Scream House

Picture this: as you drive up the winding road to 3871 Tomales Petaluma Road, you’ll see it—the eerie, iconic house from SCREAM (1996), perched at the top of a hill, waiting for you. The atmosphere alone is enough to raise the hairs on your neck. As soon as you hear the haunting soundtrack and the excited chatter of fellow fans, you’ll know you’re in for something legendary.

Hosted by Dane Petrali and featuring none other than Lee Waddell, the original Ghostface, this party promises hours of pure, pinch-me-I’m-dreaming fun. Not to mention, there’s even a special mystery guest making an appearance. Trust us—you don’t want to miss out.

What to Expect:

  • Get a photo and autograph from Lee Waddell, right inside the infamous house.
  • Watch SCREAM (1996) in the very place where it all went down.
  • Take unlimited selfies in the house’s most iconic spots—live out your Casey Becker or Sidney Prescott fantasy!
  • Dance the night away with a DJ spinning all your favorite nostalgic hits.
  • Stuff yourself with pizza, candy, and drinks to keep the party energy alive.

This Screamathon Will Be One for the History Books!

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself pausing throughout the night to soak it all in. After all, you’re partying in one of the most legendary horror movie locations of all time! It’s a Halloween experience that’ll stick with you forever—no Ghostface mask required.

Planning your visit

Traveling from out of town? The Screamathon is nestled in the beautiful Tomales area, and there are plenty of nearby places to stay. Check out the Airbnb and VRBO options or stay in hotels near filming locations like Santa Rosa, Sonoma, and Healdsburg. These cities are part of the SCREAM legacy, so it’s like getting a double dose of horror history. Plus, you can explore iconic spots like the Sonoma Community Center, where Woodsboro High was brought to life.

Flying in? The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is about an hour and a half drive to the house, while the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa is even closer, just 45 minutes away. Just be sure to plan for delays if you’re using Uber or Lyft in the area—they’re not as fast as Ghostface!
