SCREAM fans are loyal fans.

That’s why it has a cult movie status that keeps on bringing new followers – and that tends to be extended to every professional who worked behind the cameras. Some of us can even name extras that worked blurred on party scenes.

That’s how passionate we are.

So, you don’t have to go too far to investigate popular and unpopular opinions about the inevitable changes that will be unveiled on January 14th of 2022.

The first step – for the fundamentalist fans – is to be open to embrace and trust a new vision of talented filmmakers who are bringing a new life to the franchise.

That said, it is expected that some of the alumni crew won’t be back. And that’s part of the game.

It’s a new team, a new decade and for sure, new rules.

This morning, Melissa Barrera shared on Instagram one of these important decisions made by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett: READY OR NOT‘s Brett Jutkiewicz is SCREAM 5‘s Director of Photography.

The new DP helms a mission that once belonged to Mark Irving (SCREAM) and to Peter Deming (SCREAM 2 – 4). And from what we’ve seen at last week’s filming, his work on this chapter is looking promising.

Another rumored replacement is the film scoring.
Brian Tyler – who brilliantly composed the soundtrack of READY OR NOT, NOW YOU SEE ME and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is probably have to present a new take over the iconic and unforgettable score of Marco Beltrami.

The stakes are high and so are our expectations.

SCREAM 5 filming continues in Wilmington

• According to On Location Vacations, today’s filming happen on Cardinal Lanes Bowling, in Wilmington.
• The Southern Casting Calls has new opening for extras. Look for the PARKISIDE project in here, for new openings and the chance to appear on SCREAM 5.
• Also, action driving scenes scenes are about to happen in Downtown Wilmington on Oct. 12 and Oct. 14.
