Jeff Brockton (Ghostface in Scream 3)

Brockton first put on the mask to double for Scott Foleys Roman Bridger, the only solo Ghostface in franchise history. But even he was surprised when he got the call:

I actually didn’t know it was for Scream 3. The stunt coordinator just asked me to double Scott Foley.

Filming was intense, with the script constantly evolving:

Wes Craven and the writers were tweaking the script the entire time we were shooting.

Despite the secrecy, Brockton relished the challenge of making Ghostface’s attacks look even more brutal on screen.

Every fight scene had to be exaggerated for maximum tension and surprise.

Allen Robinson (Ghostface in Scream & Scream 2)

Robinson played two different killers—first as Stu Macher’s stunt double in Scream, and then as Mickey Altieri’s Ghostface in Scream 2.

I was the one who took the TV to the head as Stu in Scream 1. In Scream 2, I played Ghostface in the opening theater scene, stabbing Phil in the ear and attacking Maureen (Jada Pinkett Smith).

One of his biggest challenges? The sorority house chase scene in Scream 2:

The mask already gives you low visibility, but that scene had flashing lights, darkness, and a tiny target I had to hit just right. Oh, and I had to do it all left-handed. I’m actually right-handed, so yeah… no pressure.

But nothing compares to working with Wes Craven:

Wes told me, ‘Each time you stab Maureen, I want Ghostface to have a different look. How do you make a mask look different? That was a challenge, but I found a way.

Lee Waddell (Ghostface in Scream)

As the first-ever Ghostface, Waddell set the tone for every killer that followed. He performed all the Drew Barrymore opening sequence, defining the slasher’s movements.

On Scream 1, we filmed in order—scene 1, take 1 was literally the first day of shooting.

Filming that terrifying opening was physically demanding:

It was a night shoot, and I had to hit specific marks for the camera while making sure not to actually hurt Drew. The KNB mask had terrible visibility, so every move had to be perfect.

Even after all these years, Waddell misses Wes Craven:

He taught me so much. Working with him was an honor.

Why A Night of Screams is a Must-See for Hardcore Fans

This isn’t just another convention or autograph signing—it’s a rare, intimate experience where Scream diehards get unprecedented access to the men behind the mask.

This is for the hardcore Ghostface fans. It’s the first time all three original Ghostfaces are together in one room,” says Lee Waddell.

With Scream 7 deep into production, the question lingers—could these legendary Ghostface performers ever return?

Of course, it was an incredible character to play. I’d jump at the chance,” reveals Jeff Brockton.

Lee Waddell, however, has a different idea in mind:
I want to be killed by Ghostface!

For now, they’re stepping out from behind the mask and into the spotlight. But if Scream has taught us anything…

Ghostface always comes back.
