David Arquette has mastered the art of dodging Scream spoilers, and he’s not breaking that streak anytime soon.

As the first original cast member to officially return for Scream 5, Arquette couldn’t be more excited. In a statement upon his casting, he shared:

“I am thrilled to be playing Dewey again and to reunite with my Scream family, old and new. Scream has been such a big part of my life, and for both the fans and myself, I look forward to honoring Wes Craven’s legacy.”

Over the past few weeks, Arquette has been making the interview rounds—but if you were hoping for Scream 5 plot details, you’re out of luck. His latest video appearance is no different, as he expertly dodges every attempt to squeeze out secrets.

Still, it’s always entertaining to watch Arquette in action—especially when he playfully references Scream history. Fans will particularly love the moment where he kinda parodies Courteney Cox’s now-iconic quote from the Scream 4 era interviews:

“I met David on 1. We did not like each other on 2. We got married right before on 3. And [Cox and Arquette’s daughter] Coco was born right before 4.“
