It’s official: David Arquette has finished his role as the lovable and brave Dewey Riley in Scream 4. The actor announced the news himself on Twitter, sharing a bittersweet farewell to the set:
“I just wrapped Scream 4. Sad but so happy to get back home.”
With Arquette done filming, it seems production on Scream 4 is quickly approaching its final moments. As fans, we can’t help but hope this isn’t the last we see of Dewey. Could Scream 5 or even Scream 6 be in his future?
Here’s to seeing Dewey back in action—and until then, we’re already missing him!
