Scream Queen to Scream Queen

Neve Campbell homages Jamie Lee Curtis on MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time.

SCREAM and MTV go a long way back.

The first time it crossed paths was in 1997, in that year’s MTV Movie Awards. SCREAM snatched the highest prize of the night: Best Movie.
Wes Craven and the entire cast took the stage, the popcorn trophee and consecrated the movie as a cult forever.

In the following year, Neve Campbell brought home the Best Actress Award for SCREAM 2 and presented the award for best Movie with Courteney Cox.

And let’s not forget that the channel developed the TV series back in 2015.

Because of the pandemic and renovating format, this year the celebration received a few tweaks and was called MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time.

Neve Campbell, Drew Barrymore (SCREAM), Sarah Michelle Gellar (SCREAM 2), Selma Blair (SCREAM 2) and Kristen Bell (SCREAM 4) represented our favorite franchise.
