SCREAM 6 wrapped filming by the end of August and it is a promising new chapter in the franchise. “It’s like 20 times more mortifying,” teases Melissa Barrera. “In a city like New York City, everyone is kind of doing their own thing. […] No one comes to help them, you know, like, everyone’s kind of like, ‘I’m not getting into that.’ So it’s mortifying because you’re chased by Ghostface, but you also see humanity and how that reacts in a situation like that.

Coincidentally, New York City, SCREAM 6, Ghostface, and Melissa Barrera – along with her castmates Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jenna Ortega, and Mason Gooding – are now part of a real-life possibility of helping kids through the auction over the Brooke Jackman Foundation Annual Benefit.

R.J. Torbert, director of Fun World, donated a screen-worn Ghost Face mask for the occasion. And, as if this mask wasn’t unique enough, it is signed by the four young Woodsboro survivors from SCREAM (2022).

When it was sent to me [by Spyglass Media Group and Paramount], I had it in my office for a few weeks – it was so nice, I had to wear white gloves to handle it,” told Torbert. “The Brooke Jackman Foundation is a very worthy cause and they do great work in helping children from not only the U.S. but in other parts of the world.”

The 21st Annual Benefit for The Brooke Jackman Foundation is scheduled to be held in person on October 13th, 2022 from 6:30 – 10:00 PM at the Mandarin Oriental, New York. But you’ll also be able to bid online.

Sarah Coyne, that works with the Foundation, told us a little bit more about how it began and how it works:

The Brooke Jackman Foundation was established by family and friends after Brooke lost her life at age 23 in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks on September 11th. We created the Foundation in Brooke’s memory to sponsor programs that promote literacy and learning for children-in-need. Since 2002, nearly 60,000 Brooke Packs, backpacks filled to the brim with school supplies and reading books, and over 600,000 books have been distributed to date to disadvantaged children not only in the Tri-state area, Florida, and beyond. This year, in response to the invasion of Ukraine, and with the help of Elle Jackman and the Syosset school district who conducted a drive, the Foundation reconfigured our signature backpacks and filled them with warm clothes, blankets, and stuffies. We wanted to provide love and comfort to children in the Ukraine whose families were displaced.

And attention to something very special: if the winner of this item happens to be a follower of R.J. Torbert, Ghostface.co.uk, and HelloSidney.com on Twitter, a very special item from Fun World headquarters will be sent to this lucky person.

2022.10.26 (Edit): The winning bid was the extraordinary amount of $27.555, making this the most expensive Ghost Face mask, so far.
