My Soul To Take: Poster Contest

Check HelloSidney.com’s entry for Wes Craven’s Twitter contest!

When Wes Craven announced a My Soul to Take poster contest on Twitter, we at HelloSidney.com couldn’t resist joining the fun. Our submission explored the idea of a dynamic and interactive design—what if the movie, already in 3D, had a poster to match its immersive experience?

Our entry suggested a unique interactive poster: move your mouse across the screen—from left to right—and reveal something chilling hidden within the woods of Rivertown. It was a conceptual twist to match the eerie atmosphere of the film.

Note 1: The interactive poster was originally created using Shockwave Flash technology. As Flash has been discontinued, the interactive functionality is no longer available, leaving only the static version of the poster.

Note 2: Our submission won the contest, and Wes Craven himself awarded us a signed My Soul to Take poster. This treasured piece now serves as a lasting reminder of the creativity and passion inspired by his work.
