MTV’s controversial Scream TV series is moving forward with a key development. According to E! News, MTV’s president of programming, Suzanne Daniels, recently confirmed the writers for the pilot episode:
“Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie, who previously worked on Revenge and Criminal Minds, will write the pilot for Scream, which is eyeing a 2014 premiere.”
With their experience in suspenseful storytelling, Dworkin and Beattie are a promising duo to bring Ghostface to the small screen. Fans are eager to see how the Scream universe translates into a serialized format, blending its iconic meta-humor with modern TV storytelling.
