Production on Scream 5 has officially begun! Filming runs from Sept 22 to Nov 17 in North Carolina. Want to be an extra? Find out how!
The wait is over—production on Scream 5 officially started today, marking the franchise’s return after nearly a decade.
From September 22 to November 17, 2020, Scream 5 (under the working title Parkside Alpha) will be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, with scenes shot on location and at EUE/Screen Gems Studios.
Taking on the scary challenge of reviving Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson’s legacy is Radio Silence, represented here by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo behind Ready or Not.
First Look at the Production
A brave fan, Jerry Cook, managed to snap some early production photos from a set located at a house on Country Club Rd. This location will be used until Friday, before filming moves to a local middle school.
And if just watching isn’t enough…
